She mentioned this at a special meeting in Gusau, which was about the upcoming Measles Vaccination Campaign. Dr. Anka said that this achievement happened because everyone worked together to give people the right vaccines.

Dr. Anka expressed her gratitude to organizations like WHO, UNICEF, GAVI, and many others. She said that without their support, reaching this milestone would have been difficult.

The meeting was attended by Malam Bashir Surajo Gusau, who represented Dr. Anka. He said that the State government is committed to reducing polio and measles by 60 percent by 2025.

Dr. Anka also encouraged everyone involved to continue working together to achieve the Health Sector Plan set out by Governor Dauda Lawal.

Additionally, Dr. Raji, the WHO Coordinator for the State, promised that WHO would continue to support Zamfara. He emphasized the importance of ensuring the vaccines reach everyone, especially those who live in remote areas.
