Ghanaian-Nigerian actress, Yvonne Okoro, has sparked an interesting conversation after revealing her preference for Nigerian men over their Ghanaian counterparts.
According to Okoro, his preference is not only based on the generosity of Nigerian men but also on their romantic nature.
Speaking on the Ghanaian television show Showbiz 360, along with her colleague Majid Michel, Okoro emphasized that her ideal man should possess both romantic and generous qualities.
He clarified that while financial stability is important, love, affection and respect are equally essential in a relationship.
Okoro, who was born to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother in Tamale, Ghana, has established a successful acting career in both Nollywood and Ghollywood. His heartfelt statement generated interest among fans and sparked a debate on the differences between Nigerian and Ghanaian men.
“Nigerian or Ghanaian men? Nigerian men are better. I didn't say Nigerian men for the money. That's not the only thing. The money is there but love, affection is very important. Because if they give me money and there is no love and they are very disrespectful, I wouldn't want that.
“I want the complete package. That's my kind of man. “I want it all,” he said.
