Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed uncertainty about the dispute in the 2027 presidential elections, citing the need for a strong and viable political platform.
Atiku made this known in an interview for the television program still by air that has not become stories with Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie.
Their comments occurred shortly after announcing a coalition of opposition leaders who work to dismiss President Bola Tinubu and the ruler Congress of the Progressive (APC) in the next elections.

When asked if he would apply for president in 2027, ATIKU replied: “I don't know why there must be, in the first place, a viable platform, rather than at any other time in the political history of this country, particularly from the return of democracy.”
Despite his uncertainty, Atiku did not rule out the possibility of disputing, emphasizing the urgent need for a competent leadership in Nigeria.
“I have not seen Nigeria in a great need for experienced and credible leadership that this time. We had a similar one, you know, what would I say, fusion in 2014. Around four of us or there are three? Everyone ran for president and one of us arose, and we all support the one who emerged, and he won,” he added.
