Yoruba actress and internet sensation Ramota Adetu popularly known as Aunty Ramota has featured on DJ Xclusive’s rap song “2 am For Lekki”.
The famous Nigerian disc jockey who recently teamed up with the internet sensation turned her into a superstar rapper in his rap song, which explores themes of nightlife, wealth and social dynamics in a specific urban setting, most likely Lagos, Nigeria.
DJ Xclusive shared a video of the pint-sized actress showing off her rap talent on Thursday, delighting fans.
Aunt Ramota is known for her funny comebacks and often appears in skits and memes. This is her first appearance in a song.
The teasers have sparked a variety of mixed reactions online. As the newly released song played, Aunty Ramota quickly delivered her verse. The original song “2 am For Lekki” was released on April 19.
Before Aunty Ramota's remix was released, Magnito, Zoro and CDQ had already appeared.
Aunty Ramota's lyrics say: “Agomejila ni lekki, the big girls settled in, dollar dey ni Lekki, ko si jersey, ko si referee, World best no be Messi, Omo kekere yaapa, Girlfriend e asoomu ni fun e lo mi.

The meaning goes: “12am to Lekki, big girls inside the club, there are dollars in Lekki, no shirt, no referee, the best in the world is not Messi, small girls galore, your girlfriend is another guy’s mistress.”

According to DJ Xclusive, in a place like Lekki, a woman engaged to one man can be another man's mistress at 2am. In the video, he explains that even though one may believe she is his girlfriend, at the same time she could be involved with another man.
Some parts of Lekki are known for their luxurious amenities and lively nightlife, attracting glamorous women and wealthy men.
References to “big girls,” “dollar,” and nightlife suggest an environment where social status and wealth are important. The phrase about the absence of jerseys and referees implies a lack of conventional rules, indicating a carefree lifestyle.
The final lines, particularly about how the “best in the world” is not Messi and that the girlfriend is another boy’s lover, suggest a shift in conventional perceptions of success and fidelity.
DJ Xclusive also announced a challenge inviting emerging artists to contribute their verses to the song “2 am For Lekki”. The winner of the challenge will be featured on the open verse version of the song.

In June, Auntie Ramota made headlines for reportedly undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
