The coach of the Flying Eagles, Aliyu Zubairu, believes his team can win against Ghana’s Black Satellites in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Championship.
They are the current champions and want to keep their title by defeating Ghana at the Stade Kegue in Lome this Thursday. The match will start at 8 PM Nigerian time.
Coach Zubairu mentioned that his team knows where Ghana is weak.
He said, “Ghana is a strong team, but they don’t move very fast, and they don’t play with a lot of energy.”
He added, “We know there is always a big competition between us and Ghana.”
He also mentioned, “We have learned a lot in this tournament and become better with every game we play.”
Both Nigeria and Ghana have already made it to the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
