Grammy-winning Afrobeats artiste, Damini Ogulu Ebunoluwa, popularly known as Burna Boy, has fulfilled his promise to send $30,000 to the alleged brother of Cuban socialite Chief Priest.
Tribune Online reports that Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest were trending on social media on Saturday following a fight between the two.
Amidst the social media clash, Burna Boy posted a video of Bethel Okechukwu, an individual who claimed to be struggling as a telephone repairman despite being the brother of the Cuban head priest.
Captioning the video, Burna Boy requested that the alleged brother of the Cubana Head Priest be found, stating that he would like to give him $30,000.
In a recent development, the 'Last Last' singer has kept his promise of gifting the man the money, according to posts made by Bethel Okechukwu on Instagram on Sunday.
In one of the posts, Okechukwu was seen in a club with Burna Boy, bowing on his knees to express his gratitude to the singer.
In another video, he asked Nigerians to help him appreciate Burna Boy for changing his life for the better.
At the bottom of the post, he wrote: “God is real. Odogwu @BurnaBoygram, God has used you to lift me out of poverty, I will be forever grateful. Please, please thank him for me 🙌🙌.”
