Kamala Harris, who is the Vice President of the United States, has said she wants to be the next President.
She announced this after President Joe Biden said he supports her.
Biden decided not to run for President again because of his age and health concerns.
After getting Biden’s support, Harris promised to work hard so that the Democratic Party can win the next election.
She also promised to bring together all Democrats who might be unhappy.
Harris said: “I am thankful for the President’s support, and I want to win this nomination.
“This past year, I traveled around talking to people in America about the big choices we have in this important election. I will keep doing this in the coming days and weeks.
“I will do everything I can to bring the Democratic Party together and unite our country to beat Donald Trump and his bold Project 2025 plan.
“We have 107 days until Election Day. We will fight together. And we will win together.”
