A woman, who nobody knows, was hit and killed by a tricycle driver who did not stop. This sad event happened on Saturday in Ilorin, which is the main city in Kwara State.
A person who saw what happened said it took place early in the morning on Unity Road. This was right before the three-hour cleaning time people do once a month. The cleaning starts at 8 in the morning and finishes at 10, on the last Saturday every month.
After the accident, people took the woman to a small hospital in an area called Sabo-Oke, which is in Ilorin. However, when they got there, the doctor said she was already dead.
People tried to talk to the police and the road safety officers in Ilorin to see what they had to say about what happened, but no one could contact them.
The DAILY POST newspaper also couldn’t find out if the woman’s family knew what happened to her.
