The referee for Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Atalanta has been announced.
The referee will be Sandro Schärer from Switzerland. UEFA has chosen him to be in charge of the game at Warsaw’s Stadion Narodowy.
Real Madrid shared this news on their website on Monday.
This will be the second time Sandro Schärer will referee a Real Madrid game.
The first time he was the referee for a Real Madrid match was during the Champions League Group Stage in the 2022–23 season. Real Madrid won that game against Celtic with a score of 3-0.
The match between Real Madrid and Atalanta will start at 8 pm Nigerian time.
