Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers won’t get to play in the UEFA Champions League group stage because Rangers got knocked out in the qualifying rounds.
Rangers, with only 10 players, lost 2-0 at home to Dynamo Kiev from Ukraine in the second match, after a 1-1 tie with them last week.
Because of this, the Light Blues will now play in the UEFA Europa League.
Dessers started the game, but Balogun couldn’t play because he had a small injury.
Victor Olatunji played for Sparta Prague from the Czech Republic. His team moved to the playoffs after beating FCSB from Romania with a total score of 4-3.
Sparta Prague won the second match 3-2, after a 1-1 tie with FCSB in the Czech Republic last week.
Ogbu and Slavia Praha made it to the playoffs too. They won 1-0 against Union St.Gilloise in Belgium, making the total score 4-1.
