Facundo Pellistri, a player for Manchester United, has moved to a new soccer team in Greece called Panathinaikos. He will play there permanently now.
Manchester United shared this news on their website before their game with Brighton this weekend.
“Everyone at Manchester United wishes Facundo the best of luck at his new club and thanks him for his hard work here,” said the statement from the team.
Facundo played for the first time under Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, in a special cup match against Charlton Athletic last season. This cup match is known as the Carabao Cup.
Last season, Facundo also played in an important Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
Facundo, who is from Uruguay, also once played in Spain for a club called Granada on loan for some time.
