Leny Yoro can keep wearing his favorite number 15 shirt after moving from Lille to Manchester United.
Manchester United said Yoro joined them on Thursday. They paid £52 million to the French team, Lille.
When Yoro first played for Lille at 16 years old, he had the number 33 shirt.
When he turned 18, he changed his shirt number to 15 for the 2022/2023 season.
At Manchester United, Yoro doesn’t need to ask anyone to get the number 15 shirt. Last season, Sergio Reguilon had that number, but he was on a loan contract.
Reguilon went back to Brentford after his loan ended in January.
The number 15 shirt at Manchester United is famous because Nemanja Vidic wore it. Recently, players like Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira have also worn it.
