Transfer expert and journalist, Dean Jones, has revealed that Chelsea will go for Brentford’s Ivan Toney if they can’t get Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Chelsea really wants to sign Osimhen from Napoli this summer.
In an interview with GiveMeSport, Jones mentioned that Toney, who is also interesting a lot of teams in Saudi Arabia, could be an option for Chelsea.
“Moving to Saudi Arabia would give Toney a lot of money, but it might hurt his chances of playing for England,” said Jones.
“I think getting a chance to play for a big Premier League club would be more exciting for him.
“There are not many places he could go now – Arsenal and Spurs are not looking for him, and I don’t think Manchester United will go for him anymore.
“So, the main team he could join is Chelsea if they can’t get Victor Osimhen. Chelsea has been watching him closely this year.”
