Sunday Oliseh, who used to play and coach for the Super Eagles, has picked one Premier League team he thinks will do very well this coming season.
Oliseh thinks Aston Villa will be successful because they signed a new player, Amadou Onana, from Everton.
Villa told everyone this week that they got Amadou Onana, who is a player from Belgium.
Unai Emery’s team, Aston Villa, will be in the Champions League this year. This is a big deal because they haven’t played there since the 1982/1983 season.
Villa has also got other new players. They signed Ross Barkley who used to play for Chelsea. They also got Ian Maatsen, Samuel Illing-Junior, Enzo Barrenechea, Lewis Dobbin, Cameron Archer, Jaden Philogene, and now Amadou Onana.
Oliseh thinks Aston Villa, also called the Lions, will do really well in the new season.
Oliseh said, “This new player could make Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, much stronger. Don’t bet against Villa doing well this season,” on X.
There are also talks that Aston Villa might want to sign Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
