Chelsea announced on Friday that their player, David Datro Fofana, is leaving the club to play for Göztepe SK on loan until June 2025.
The information was shared on Chelsea’s website.
The official statement said, “Chelsea forward David Fofana has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish side Göztepe SK.”
There is a special clause in Fofana’s loan agreement, which allows Chelsea to recall him in January if needed.
At 23 years old, Fofana is not part of Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca’s plans for this season.
This news comes before Chelsea’s Premier League game against Bournemouth on Saturday night.
