Transfer: Akinsola Secures Permanent Move to Portuguese Club AVS

Babatunde Akinsola has officially joined the Portuguese soccer team, AVS Futebol SAD.

AVS first got the Nigerian player on loan from a Spanish team, Real Valladolid, in January.

During his time with AVS, Akinsola scored one goal and made one assist in 17 games.

Akinsola shared his happiness about signing the new contract.

“I’m really happy to be back. The last few months have been great, which made my return easy,” he told the club’s official website.

“I feel like I can show what I’m made of in Liga Portugal and help AVS stay strong in the league. I’m very excited and can’t wait to start.”
