On Wednesday morning in Prague, two passenger trains crashed into each other, hurting 35 people. Most of them had only small injuries, according to rescue workers and train officials.
What happened? One train did not stop at a red signal and hit a train that was not moving, said Dusan Gavenda, who works for the railway company Sprava Zeleznic.
Rescue workers helped the hurt people. Some had bruises and scratches, while others had bigger injuries like a broken jaw. Luckily, no one had life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters helped around 200 passengers get off the trains safely.
Police said one of the train drivers tested positive for alcohol. This driver was taken to the doctor for more blood tests.
Czech Railways, the company in charge of national trains, confirmed the driver tested positive but said the crash might not be his fault. If the test shows the driver was drunk, they will fire him.
Just last June, there was another bad train crash in Pardubice, east of Prague. Four people died and more than 20 were injured when a fast train hit a freight train.
Train accidents happen quite often in the Czech Republic, which has around 10.9 million people.
