President Bola Tinubu has approved the reappointment of Abdurrahman Sheshe as Chief Medical Director of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, for a second and final four-year term, with effect from December 5, 2023.

Mr. Sheshe, a professor, was first appointed as the Chief Medical Director of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital on December 6, 2019.

The President hopes that with Mr. Sheshe’s reappointment, he will rededicate himself to improving the hospital’s standards and ensuring the efficient delivery of quality services to citizens.

President Tinubu also approved the reappointment of Yusuf Bara as Chief Medical Director of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, for a second and final four-year term.

The president's approval follows an evaluation of Bara's performance in his first term.

The president anticipates that with the renewal of Professor Bara's appointment, the achievements recorded during his first term will be consolidated.
