The security forces have recovered 900 whispered animals after a heated expansion of shooting with notorious bandits leaders in their hiding place in Magamin Didi, area of the local government of Maradun of the State of Zamfara.
Military sources confirmed that Friday's operation led to the recovery of approximately 500 sheep and 400 cattle, stolen by liters' dogs identified as Smally, Bashari Baba and Jankwado.
Despite facing strong resistance, the troops successfully secured cattle. While there were no immediate reports of victims or arrests available, the sources chose the soldiers for their courage.
Recovered animals have been delivered to the authorities to return to their rightful owners. Security operations in the region are still ongoing as part of broader efforts to combat bandit and restore stability.
