The agents of the State Police Command of Benue have rescued a young man yet for being identified from an angry mafia who supposedly caught him trying to steal an okada pilot from his motorcycle in Makurdi, the capital of the state.
The incident occurred on Thursday around Angus Fraser College, extension of the occupator's occupator, Makurdi.
Daily Post gathered that the suspects were seen by the public vigilant members while trying to marry a man from his motorcycle. There was a hot persecution, and the suspects were finally trapped.
A source that spoke on condition of anonymity said: “After a fierce persecution, he and his gang fell from the bicycle, but the other two escaped. He was unfortunate.
“The angry crowd caught him and had already hung a tire around his neck and was about to turn it on when the police reached the incident scene.”
The efforts to confirm farther from the spokesman for the State Police Command of Benue, CSP Catherine Anene, were not successful, since calls to their phone were not returned at the time of this report.
