Must Read

The Nigerian Navy stopped three people carrying bad fuel in some boats. They found these boats in a place called Igbomotoru in Bayelsa State.

They shared on social media: “On Wednesday, August 2, 2024, our navy ship, called SOROH, caught three people with two fiber boats and one wooden boat. These boats had bad fuel inside. We found them at Igbomotoru in Bayelsa State.”

Their message continued: “We gave the people we caught to another group called the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. They will check more into this problem.”

In another part of Bayelsa State, the patrol team found three more people doing something called illegal bunkering. This means they were taking fuel when they shouldn’t be.

After asking the three more questions, the patrol team found one big wooden boat with more bad fuel. This was in a place called Bassambiri, Bayelsa State.

They also handed these three people to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, but this time in Nembe, Bayelsa State.
