The Fulani community in Nigeria has expressed concern about the continuous arrest of its leader, the president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore declares its illegal and unstrucional arrest.
The community, therefore, begged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the case.
According to a letter signed by Mohammed Tasiu Suleiman, National Public Relations Official (PRO) of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Sociocultural Association, “Bello was arrested by men of the Nigerian army and then transferred to the custody of the Defense Intelligence Agency ( Day) and then the State Security Service (SSS) “.
The community declared that, despite the repeated arrests in the past, no charges have been demonstrated, believing that it is innocent and that it was illegally arrested by people who have found themselves in positions of power.
The letter also highlighted Bello's health concerns, which requires urgent medical care for a disease that has been suffering.
The community urged President Tinubu to use his veto power to order his immediate and unconditional liberation.
The Fulani community expressed commotion and concern for the treatment of Bello, who campaigned publicly and brought together its people to support the presidency of APC and President Tinubu in 2023.
They urged the president to investigate the circumstances surrounding the arrest and arrest of their leader and ensure that justice is served.
The letter also caught attention to the arrest of individuals involved in injuring a retired general and their cattle, which had more than 500.
The Fulani community expressed its confidence in the Renew Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and expected the establishment and creation of the Ministry of Development of Livestock to bring a positive change.
