The French Embassy Lanza Music Bootcamp to empower Nigerian talents

The French embassy in Nigeria has announced the launch of a music bootcamp aimed at empowering emerging musical talent in the country.

The initiative, which is part of the Embassy's cultural exchange program, seeks to provide Nigerian musicians with the skills and resources necessary to succeed in the competitive music industry.

The Music Bootcamp, entitled “The amplify Bootcamp for artists and music managers”, will take place from March 24 to March 28 in Abuja and from April 7 to April 15, 2025, in Lagos. The program will bring together a select group of Nigerian musicians for a series of workshops, master classes and tutoring sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from recognized professionals from the music industry and establish contacts with other emerging artists.

The amplify Bootcamp is intended to be a timeless moment of reflection in a privileged and inspiring environment, where artists and their managers will have a unique opportunity to advance their project, surrounded and advised by a team of the best experts in the Nigerian music industry. The objective is to give beneficiaries all the keys/skills they need to take advantage of their abilities and develop their career.

According to a statement published by the France Embassy, ​​Music Bootcamp is part of a broader effort to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between France and Nigeria. “We are excited to launch this initiative, which will provide Nigerian musicians with the tools and resources they need to succeed,” said the French ambassador to Nigeria.

At the end of the bootcamp, the artists will go with an EPK ready to use (Electronic Press Kit), and will have proposed to determine a career and communication plan.
