The Economic Forum Series® (EFS) and Newslodge Unveil First Annual MSME Finance Awards Program

Must Read

The Economic Forum Series® (EFS), Newslodge, and DiGiComm Enterprises are happy to share news about the first Annual MSME Finance Awards Program. This program will celebrate those who have helped small businesses (MSMEs) in Nigeria.

This yearly award will show appreciation for banks, companies, and people who have made it easier for small businesses to get money, made great tech available to them, and supported government policies that help these businesses grow.

This event is linked to the Annual MSME & Start-ups Summit by The Economic Forum Series ® EFS, which started in 2018. The summit and the new awards program both aim to help small businesses succeed.

The awards will honor those who have come up with new financial products and services that benefit small businesses. This includes banks, non-profit groups, and other organizations.

Some of the categories for the awards are MSME Bank of the Year, Best in MSME Financial Inclusion, Best MSME Microfinance Bank, Best MSME FinTech Payment Platform, and MSME Insurance Company of the Year.

This big event is supported by the Office of the Vice President on MSMEs & Job Creation from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) being a key partner.

Nairalytics, the research team of Newslodge, handled the nominations and shortlistings independently. The winners will be announced during a special event at the Grand Banquet Hall of the Civic Centre in Lagos on September 27, 2024.
