The Lagos State Police command arrested a 23 -year -old man, Golahan Adebayo, for killing his 25 -year -old girlfriend.
According to reports, the incident occurred on February 21, 2025.
Confirming the incident to the journalists on Monday, the spokesman for the command, Benjamin Handeyin, declared that the suspect committed the crime around 8:00 pm on Friday in IJedodo, Isheri-osun.
“A neighbor said he saw man hitting his girlfriend in his room for a reason still unknown. A few minutes later, the suspect shouted for help.
“Upon arriving at the suspect's apartment, he found the girlfriend lying unconscious with visible marks in his body.
“The girl was urgently taken to a hospital in Ijegun, where she was confirmed dead.”
