Ogwashi UKU community in the area of the Southern Council of Aniocha of the State of Delta has been confused after the kidnapping of four children.
The reports of the area said that the residents of Umuokwe Quarters are pointing out the accusing fingers of three women who secured an emergency accommodation in the neighborhood last Monday.
The boys are 6 -year -old girls, Ebube Nwafido and his three -year -old sister Miracle, both from the same father and two other girls, Chimanda, Seven Year, and Excel, Alias Tinubu, five years old, also from another father.
Women supposedly attracted children on Friday, pretending to buy cookies from a popular supermarket in the community.
The ladies had previously approached Mrs. Bose Nwafido, asking if she could direct them where to secure the accommodation.
Nwafido regretted: “Last Monday, the three women came asking me for a house to rent. I pointed out an address, but later, one of them returned and said that Pepsi and Zobo drank and that I was having a stomach running; which should allow you to use our bathroom.
“I took the lady to the part of our house, where she defined in a bush and then told me that I was going to withdraw money from post to pay the accommodation.
“The lady then returned when I went to the market and took my first child, IFECHUKWUD, to know her house and thus began to show kindness to children, unknown to many who had an evil plan.”
According to her, she left the children on Friday morning for a program that told them that they touch within the complex as usual.
“Around 12 noon, some children returned to say that aunt wants to buy cookies for us.”
Other findings revealed that when the children and the other two could not be seen around the complex after a while, the neighbors expressed concern and by the time they visited the ladies apartment, neither the occupants nor the children could be found since the room was empty.
Ebube and Miracle's father, Kingsley Nwafido and the wife, who are strongly traumatized, expressed their shock due to the sudden disappearance of children.
The Public Relations officer of the State Police SP Bright EDAFE confirmed the kidnapping.
“The investigation is activated,” Edafe said.
