Must Read

R&B singer Tems, whose full name is Temilade Openiyi, thinks she is very popular in Nigeria.

While talking on a podcast called Big Boy TV in the US, Tems shared that being famous makes life tricky in Nigeria.

She told a story about nearly being surrounded by fans when she was driving in Lagos last December.

Tems said she can’t drive there anymore without having the police by her side because so many people recognize her.

“I used to drive by myself in Nigeria, but now it’s too risky. Last December, I almost got rushed by a big group of fans. If I need to drive, police cars have to be in front and behind my car,” she explained.

Tems also mentioned that getting used to being famous was tough for her because she’s a quiet person who likes to keep to herself, but she eventually learned how to handle it.
