Standard Chartered Bank praises the economic reforms of Nigeria

In a resounding support for the bold economic transformation of Nigeria, a high -power delegation from the Estandonized Bank has praised the country's radical reforms, racing the way for a new era of investment and growth.

During a meeting with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of the Economy of Coordination, Wale Edun, in his office in Abuja, the delegation praised the economic reforms of Nigeria, describing them as “extraordinary” that highlight key measures, such as the elimination of fuel subsidies and market liberalization.

Nigeria's debt market confidence appeared prominently in the discussions, and the participants pointed out the renewed appetite both by Eurobonds and for local debt instruments.

Edun highlighted the improvement of the country's fiscal health, citing a significant reduction in the budget deficit and continuous efforts to stabilize the economy, control inflation and lower interest rates.

Nigeria's economy, he said, is growing at 3.84 percent, with a 7 percent objective for a substantial reduction in poverty and employment creation.

The delegation also praised the commitment of President Bola Tinubu with international financial institutions and development agencies, noting that Nigeria's proactive approach for economic associations is promoting a more stable and friendly environment with investment.

Mohammed Manga, director, information and public relations, according to Nigeria, continues to consolidate its position as a lighthouse of economic resilience and reform, the association between the Government and the Eested Bank is ready to unlock new opportunities, promote innovation and boost the nation towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
