Shakira, the famous Colombian singer, is going to sing at the 2024 Copa America final!
She will sing during the halftime at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. This will happen on Sunday, July 14.
Alejandro Domínguez, the president of CONMEBOL, said, “Shakira is a shining star from South America who has impressed people everywhere.” He also said, “We know her show at Copa América USA 2024 will spread a good message of passion and unity through sports.”
Shakira has sung at other big events like the Super Bowl and three World Cups before.
The 2024 Copa America final will be a match between the winners of today’s semifinal game (Argentina vs Canada) and the winners of tomorrow’s game (Uruguay vs Colombia).
About 54,000 people are expected to come and watch the final game in person.
