Suleiman Nguroje, a policeman who talks to the public, said the police caught these people on a Friday, October 25. These people worked together to take the broken pipes.

The police found these people because a nice person told them what was happening. This person is called a good Samaritan.

The police said the names of the people they caught are: Umar Musa, 40 years old from Abuja; Mohammed Hassan, 25 years old from Yobe State; Adamu Abdullahi, 28 years old from Yobe State; and Yakubu Adamu, 27 years old also from Yobe State.

The rest of the people are: Gabriel Wale, 40 years old from Lagos State; Abubakar Garba, 40 years old from Kaduna State; and Aliyu Muhammad, 28 years old from Bauchi State.

The police said that what these people did is bad. It makes things unsafe for everyone and is very bad for the place’s money and important stuff.

They are looking into the case carefully and trying to find more people who might be helping from a hidden place.
