Former Napoli player, German Denis, thinks that Romelu Lukaku is a better choice for the team this year than Victor Osimhen.
Lukaku joined the Napoli team at their home stadium, the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, after moving from Chelsea this summer.
Meanwhile, Osimhen went to play in Turkey with Galatasaray for one season.
Since joining, Lukaku has been doing a great job and helping Napoli climb to the top of the standings.
Denis shared, “We saw Lukaku playing well. Even though his coach, Conte, knows there are things he can improve. What’s great about Lukaku is that he plays with a big heart for the team. Just yesterday, he helped by setting up two goals, almost like a playmaker,” he mentioned on Radio Kiss Kiss.
Denis also added, “Is Lukaku replacing Osimhen? I’m not sure if Osimhen would fit as well in Napoli as Lukaku does with Conte’s style. Napoli definitely made a smart decision.”
