A gasoline oil tanker crashed along the Jalingo-Wukari road in the early hours of Monday, which caused a quick response from security agents to avoid looting and a possible explosion.
Police officers and the staff of the Nigeria Security and Defense Corps (NSCDC) quickly arrived at the scene, ensuring the area and temporarily closing the way to guarantee public safety.
The authorities successfully transferred the oil fuel container to another vehicle, avoiding any dangerous situation.
Both the Police Public Relations officer, SP USMAN ABDULLAHI and NSCDC spokesman SC ILIYA, confirmed the rapid intervention. The NSCDC commander personally took his team to the site to maintain order.
