The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has suspended its Kogi State chairman, Moses Peter Oricha, due to some problems with his behavior and actions against the party’s rules.
The decision to suspend Oricha was written in a letter dated July 22, 2024. The letter was signed by the National Secretary of SDP, Olu Agunloye.
The letter explained: “The National Working Committee (NWC) looked at reports and suggestions about your actions from the National Vice Chairman (North Central Zone). These actions are not good for the Social Democratic Party.
“Because of this, the NWC following the 2022 Party Constitution has decided to suspend you from the Social Democratic Party immediately.
“So, you are now formally suspended from the Social Democratic Party starting right now until we say otherwise. This is according to the 2022 Constitution of the Social Democratic Party, which has been updated. Please take note.”
