In a statement on Thursday, Ofime underlined the social relevance of the 78-episode series, which will address critical issues such as irregular migration, human trafficking, rehabilitation and redemption.

At the same time, Edo Film Project will take care of the technical elements, guaranteeing the highest production standards.

In a meeting on Friday at the office of the First Lady of Edo State, Ofime, the CEO of Native Media TV, applauded the efforts of the state government and various agencies to combat the vices he would highlight in the series.

Ofime, who shot the first Nollywood movie on a moving train in 2021, emphasized the historical context of the region with irregular migration and the authenticity it brings to the narrative.

He commended the First Lady, Betsy Obaseki, for her advocacy of female empowerment and her support of organizations and charities that define the role of women and girls in social development.
