Must Read

People who support Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, gathered in Port Harcourt to protest. They want the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) to listen to a recent ruling by a Federal High Court about the local government elections happening now.

A lot of people came to the protest because they believe the election process was not fair or done correctly.

This is happening while there is a big political problem in Rivers State because of the local government election, as reported by DAILY POST.

The protesters held signs saying things like “Listen to the Court” and “No Justice, No Election.” They are not happy with how the elections are being handled and urged RSIEC to stop the elections and follow what the court said.

Recently, a court decision asked to pause the elections because there were questions about how fair the process was.

Wike’s supporters want the elections to be delayed.

But, RSIEC continued with the elections despite the court’s decision, which led to the protests by Wike’s supporters.
