Rivers Local Government Elections: Okocha Alleges Fubara’s Rule Marked by Impunity

Must Read

One of the big people in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, says Governor Siminalayi Fubara is running the state like he can do whatever he wants. Tony warns that APC will not just watch this without doing anything.

At a meeting with the media on Wednesday, Tony talked at the APC office about many times when Governor Fubara did things as if the rules don’t matter. He talked mostly about how the governor wants to go on with local council elections even though a court said not to do it.

Tony said he will do everything legal to stop these actions that he thinks are not right. He asked all the people involved in the local elections to follow the rules. He also asked other good people to help stop the governor from making Rivers State a place where rules don’t matter.
