Rivers LG Poll Concludes Without Political Intimidation — Atiku Commends Fubara

Must Read

In 2023, Atiku Abubakar, who wanted to be president from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had something to say on Sunday. He talked about the local government elections in Rivers State. He felt these elections showed that people no longer need to be scared of unfair politics or tricky law games.

Atiku believes this will help the government in Rivers State do a good job. He said Governor Sim Fubara did well in the local elections and did what was right for the people.

He explained that the elections proved that Governor Fubara cares a lot about what people want and made sure the elections were fair.

In a statement, Atiku highlighted, “Now that the local government elections have been completed in Rivers State, we can see that pushing people around with politics or using tricky law practices won’t work anymore. Now, the government can start working well in the state.”

“From the busy city of Port Harcourt to the calm beaches of Onne, everyone has spoken together, showing that nothing is better than democracy.”

“As people imagined, it became clear that the people in Rivers State are smart and determined. They are saying ‘no’ to any kind of unfair political control or bullying by those who just want power for themselves.”

“I want to say congratulations to the new leaders in local government. They should focus on caring for the people and avoid being mean or having dreams that don’t help anyone.”

“Additionally, I admire the brave people of Rivers State. Against challenges, they stood tall and made sure the election happened peacefully and was fair.”

“I must also thank Governor Fubara for always thinking about the people’s needs and ensuring the elections were kept honest, even when things got tough.”

“In the end, it’s really the people who win in this election. Their important right to choose their leaders was respected in our democratic way.”
