Rivers LG Elections: Ex-PDP Chairman Secondus Says Fubara Stood Firm Against Intimidation

Uche Secondus, who used to lead the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has praised Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State. He said that Governor Fubara is not afraid of being bullied.

Uche Secondus was talking about the recent local government elections in Rivers State. He said that Governor Fubara is a good leader because he believes in fairness and democracy.

In a Wednesday statement made by his adviser, Ike Abonyi, Secondus gave Governor Fubara a thumbs-up for respecting democratic rules.

Secondus mentioned, “Governor Fubara showed real leadership by being strong for democratic ideas.

“He didn’t let any bullying win, showing he cares about the people and their future.”

Uche Secondus also asked President Bola Tinubu to be friends with Governor Fubara. He suggested that they should work together to take care of important things in Rivers State that help the whole country’s economy.

He emphasized that the federal government and Rivers State should team up because the state holds a key economic role.
