Episode 4 of Big Brother Naija: The Buzz season 9 was filled with all the juicy moments fans have been craving!
On the couch with Toke Makinwa was digital content creator Austin Betha. Together, they talked about all the crazy things that happened last week. They started by chatting about the wager task and Rhuthee’s dramatic exit. Toke asked Betha, “What was your biggest highlight so far?” Betha answered, “When Floruish got evicted and then Wanni X Handi did that ‘po po po’ taunt and the name-calling that followed. They were really harsh, saying, ‘Watch us from home, b***h,’” Betha shared.
Toke quickly added that the housemates’ big talk didn’t match their actions. “I feel like the twins were all talk and no action,” Toke said with a laugh. “They were making noodles, but Rhuthee outdid them both!”
The chat got more serious as they talked about the fight between Rhuthee and Wanni. Betha mentioned how some housemates tried to make peace, but it didn’t work. “Shaun was trying to calm Wanni down, but it didn’t really work,” Toke chimed in. “If someone says that my sister and I are with the same man, Big Brother House would explode!”
Betha explained that if a woman loves and respects a man, she might stay quiet for him in the moment. “If he says, ‘Betha, keep quiet,’ I will, but that doesn’t mean I won’t come back for you later,” she laughed. She also talked about the love triangle between Chinwe, Rhuthee, and Nelly, adding, “You can’t tell me how to react after you do something.”
Another big moment was when Rhuthee left the house, and the Mbadiwe twins tried to hug her, but she wasn’t feeling it. Toke joked, “Maybe it’s because they’re twins too.”
The episode didn’t miss out on the romantic gossip. From the chemistry between Ozee of the Mbadiwe twins and Onyeka to Victoria’s possible game strategy, they covered it all. Betha cheekily advised, “If you need to cough to stay in the game, cough!” showing that anything can be a strategy in Biggie’s house.
They also talked about whether housemates are using relationships as game tactics. Toke asked about Nelly and Sooj’s new romance, which Betha thought was just another game move. “Nelly is smart; she knows what she’s doing,” Betha commented.
The spicy moments between Wanni and Shaun were also discussed, with Toke joking, “I think I’m jealous because Wanni is with my man!” On the other side, Topher’s attempts to win over Anita were examined, and Betha suggested he might not be genuine.
To wrap up the episode, lifestyle influencer Dr. Kelly Sampa joined them to talk about the ongoing drama between Rhuthee and the Wanni X Hanni duo. “Even when they fight, you can tell they still care about each other,” he said.
