Famous food critic, Opeyemi Famakin, has shared online that entertainment boss, Cubana Chiefpriest, has threatened him.
Famakin had given his opinion about Cubana Chiefpriest’s restaurant after going there on September 11, 2024, in Imo State.
On Instagram, Famakin said the restaurant looked nice, but he didn’t like that the pastries were already made and just heated up in the microwave.
At first, Cubana Chiefpriest thanked Famakin for visiting and wished him well. He wrote, “Thank you for visiting, Foodie. Wishing you all the best!” in the comments.
But things changed on September 12, 2024. Famakin said that Chiefpriest had threatened him because of his review.
Famakin showed proof by posting pictures of their chat.
In the chat, Chiefpriest said, “Karma is real, you must pay for whatever you sow in life. I don’t fight lowlifes, I leave them to karma. The business you did your wicked review for is owned by a 6-year-old.”
Famakin added a message telling people to hold Chiefpriest responsible if anything happens to him.
He wrote, “I know a threat when I see one. I guess it’s time to leave Imo State ASAP. If anything happens to me while I am here, well, you know who to hold. I love how he was polite in the comment section for the world to see, but it was a different tone in my DMs.”
