Real Madrid Responds to Rudy Fernández’s Retirement

On Friday, Real Madrid said thank you to Rudy Fernandez because he announced he will stop playing basketball.

Before this, Rudy already told everyone he plans to quit basketball.

On their website, Real Madrid shared kind words and said Rudy is one of the best players they ever had.

“After Rudy Fernandez said he will no longer play professional basketball, Real Madrid C. F. wants to say thank you and share our love and respect for one of our greatest players ever,” Real Madrid wrote.

Rudy Fernandez joined Real Madrid in 2011.

In his 13 years with the team, he played 754 games and won 26 trophies.

He won many awards like 3 European Cups, 6 Copa del Rey titles, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 7 League titles, and 9 Spanish Super Cups.
