Speaking in the project commissioned by Chief Khamis Badmus in his hometown, Iragbiji, where the Adoration Center was built, Oyetola commented that “it is important for me to build a central mosque in his memory. I thank Allah Almighty for the opportunity to commission this mosque today.

“It has been a dream, I have been in him for approximately 2 years in my mother's memory. Why did I decide to build a mosque for my mother? In 2006, my mother was installed as an adini and central mosque and asked what I wanted me to do for her and said she wanted me to invite my friends to donate to the rehabilitation of the mosque.

“That 2006 I could donate N6.5 million and we used all the money to rehabilitate the central mosque.

“Then, now I thought about what she had loved if she were alive and I concluded that it is important for me to build a central mosque in her memory.

“I thank God almighty and like this Waju Tunde Badmus for coming to commission the mosque. I also thank the real parents, including my friends throughout the country who came to the occasion and I thank other people who were also witnessing the event. “

Speaking in the current period of Ramadan, said Oyetola, Ramadan is a month of peace and a month of forgiveness and people charged to embrace peace and love in harmony with themselves.

He said: “We must make sure to maintain peace with everyone and that we must continue to pray for our leaders, the president, the governors, the country's ministers and all.

“We want everyone to live in peace and I think that the blessing of the Almighty Allah will come to us.”

In his own comment, Chief Khamis Badmus said: “Not only during Ramadan you have to support your Muslim brothers, today's achievement is a memory.
