Ibrahim Owodunni, who was good friends with the late singer Mohbad, is also known as Primeboy. He has said he might go to court because Mohbad’s mom, Mrs. Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, said something about him that he believes is untrue.
Primeboy’s lawyer, Mr. Akinpelu Ogunbona, explained the situation. Mohbad’s mom did an interview where she said Primeboy and Mohbad had a fight before Mohbad passed away.
In the interview, she mentioned that Primeboy would often argue with Mohbad and was unhappy because Mohbad seemed to ignore him after becoming famous. She also claimed that Primeboy was told to leave town after Mohbad died so he wouldn’t look guilty.
Primeboy believes these claims hurt his reputation as a growing music artist. He feels it makes his fans and supporters think badly of him. He wants people to remember him for his music, not these accusations.
In a message posted on Instagram, Primeboy gave Mohbad’s mom a week to take back what she said.
He also warned that if she doesn’t apologize and admit her mistake, he would go to court.
Mohbad sadly passed away on September 12, 2023. Something strange happened, which led to questions about how he died, so they looked into it further by checking his body again on September 21, 2023, at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, known as LASUTH.
