President Tinubu Approves Development Bills for North-West and South-East Commissions

President Bola Tinubu just signed two important laws to help different parts of Nigeria grow faster. These are called the North-West Development Commission Bill of 2024 and the South-East Development Commission Bill of 2023.

This news came out on Wednesday from Ajuri Ngelale, who is the President’s special adviser on media and publicity.

These new laws are meant to help speed up development in different parts of Nigeria.

“President Bola Tinubu has signed laws to help different parts of Nigeria develop faster. The North-West Development Commission Bill, 2024, and the South-East Development Commission Bill, 2023, are now official,”
the statement said.

The statement also explained what these bills will do. The North-West Development Commission will help rebuild roads, houses, and businesses that were damaged. It will also work on problems like poverty and illiteracy in the North-West.

Similarly, the South-East Development Commission will fix roads, houses, and other infrastructure that were damaged. It will also tackle environmental problems in the South-East.

The statement emphasized that President Tinubu wants to be fair and make sure everyone in Nigeria gets good services no matter where they live. This is to help the country stay united.
