Popular Nigerian singer Portable felt unhappy after meeting Peter Obi, who is running for president in 2023 as a candidate for the Labour Party.
Portable met Peter Obi in Edo State over the weekend.
Peter Obi was in Benin to support Olumide Akpata, the Labour Party’s candidate for governor. At the same time, Portable was there for a music show.
In a video that many people are watching on social media, Portable is seen bending down and greeting Peter Obi next to his car.
But later, in another video, Portable said he was unhappy because Peter Obi didn’t give him any money.
Portable told his friends that if they had met President Bola Tinubu instead of Peter Obi, Tinubu would have given them something. He said, “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”
