The Lagos State Police command announced on Sunday that its agents had rescued two victims of kidnapping and launched a human hunt for their kidnappers.
The public relations officer of the command, CSP Benjamin Hundayin, confirmed this in a statement issued in Lagos.
Hundyin declared that the alleged kidnappers kidnapped the victims on Wednesday in Ijede, in the State Ikorodu area.
According to him, the command “received information that some kidnappers invaded the ijede community and kidnapped two people.”
He explained that upon receiving the report, the agents were mobilized to the scene, where it was discovered that the criminals had strongly entered the house of a 40 -year -old man, killed his dog and kidnapped him.
“The kidnappers also made their way into a nearby house and kidnapped the 25 -year -old daughter of the owner,” he added.
The police professional declared that the victims were rescued on Saturday, March 29 by the Police and a joint workforce.
