The Imo State Police stopped three bad guys who tried to attack the Njaba Police station. These bad guys were stopped quickly by the police.
The police found big guns like a general-purpose machine gun and an AK-47 rifle.
According to a news update from the police spokesperson, ASP Henry Okoye, the attack happened on September 15. The bad guys were thought to be from a group called the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and their armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
The attackers came with three big cars and started shooting at the Njaba Police station.
The police officers quickly got ready and fought back. Three of the bad guys were stopped and couldn’t attack anymore.
Some of the other bad guys got hurt and ran away into the bushes. The police took away guns and three cars: a Toyota Lexus 470, a Mercedes GLK, and a Toyota Venza.
