The Public Relations officer of the State Police of Delta, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed on Monday the death of two people as rival cult groups that faced each other in the community of Obiaruku.
EDAFE, who responded to a WhatsApp message sent by our correspondent in Warri, confirmed the report without revealing details.
The deceased were killed as cult groups of Eiye and Vikings involved in a clash on Sunday night.
It is not clear if the deceased were members of any of the cult groups. They were killed in different places in the city.
One of them was approached in a drinking bar by members of the eiye fellowship, which sporadically shot to scare other people before killing him.
