Police Ban Use of Vehicles with Covered Plates in Kogi

Must Read

The police in Kogi State have a new rule: people can’t use cars or bikes with hidden or no number plates. Number plates are the signs on the front and back of a car that show its special number.

This rule was made by the police boss, Mr. Bethrand Onuoha. He said bad people use cars with hidden number plates to do bad things without being caught. This makes it hard for police to stop crime and protect everyone.

Mr. Onuoha told everyone who has cars with hidden number plates to take them off. If your car doesn’t have a number plate, you should get one. If not, the police might take your car away.

It’s against the law to hide your car’s number or drive without a number plate. Mr. Onuoha wants everyone to follow this rule. If they don’t, the police will stop them and might take their car and take them to court.

Mr. Onuoha also asked everyone to make sure their cars are properly registered and their number plates are easy to read.
