The police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have caught twin brothers named Obike David and Obike Stanley. They were stealing ATM cards.
Benneth Igweh, the Commissioner of Police in the FCT, shared this news on Wednesday in Abuja while showing the caught brothers.
The police said they followed and arrested the twins on Tuesday. These brothers trick people at ATMs to steal their cards.
They do this by pretending to help people who do not know how to use the ATM. When the person is distracted, the brothers secretly switch ATM cards and then take money from those accounts.
The police questioned the brothers, and they admitted to the crime. The police are now preparing to take them to court once the investigation is over, said the Commissioner.
